Management structures' building blocks - first level people managers.
Management structures can never be harsh or strict on the building blocks of management, the First level People Managers.
These people are closest to the main working population of a company and also closest to the decision making groups in the company. These are the people who cascade top management decisions to the working population in a big enterprise and are entrusted with actual delivery of products/services from the company.
What about their own benefit? Should they always stay in this position, where they face pressure from top management and the employees? Should they move to the next level of management where they are closer to the top management and have decisive inputs in those decisions
